The 75 Spiritual Challenge was inspired by the 75 Hard Challenge* that has been so popular.
The idea behind 75 Hard is a good one, and I know that a lot of people have benefited from it. But the energy I felt from the word, “hard,” and even the intention behind the challenge just didn’t feel in alignment with me.
I get it: Commit to doing something difficult every single day for 75 days straight, and at the end, if you make it through the 75 days, you will have more confidence.
The confidence comes from your keeping the promise you made to yourself…. Because you kept your word and followed through.
But just maybe there’s another way to get there.
If you are familiar with the Law of Attraction, you know that we attract to us people and experiences that are in energetic alignment with our thoughts, feelings and beliefs (both conscious and subconscious).
So, the idea of committing to 75 days of doing hard things was *not* where I wanted to put my energy and focus.
I want my energy and focus to be on ease and flow and synchronicity.
And when we make a promise to ourselves and keep it, our self-esteem will increase. It doesn’t necessarily have to be a really difficult or painful thing that we’re doing as long as we do what we set out to do and keep our word to ourselves.
So I wondered, “What if we took the idea of 75 Hard and instead applied it to spiritual growth?”
And the 75 Spiritual Challenge was born. 🙂
